Tranny Cooler Install |

- Get a B&M or any other plate style cooler. Larger - its better.
- Mount it using corner braces to the bumper crossmember - just be creative with the mount - dont cheese out like some people and zip-tie it to the AC condenser.
- Use 1/2 NPT to 3/8" barbed fittings on the cooler and run 3/8 rubber hose to the hardlines.
- The cleanest way to splice into the hard lines is to cut the top line going into the radiator cooler about 4-5" away from the radiator and use 5/16" barbed compression fittings to connect your 3/8 hose to.
- Then the return line from your aux cooler gets spliced in the same way (so basically your going to cut out a segment of hardline from the OE return line, and hook your aux cooler up in series with it using barbed compression fittings)
- Fittings can be bought at Ace hardware for around 1$ a piece. Total cost for me was about 65-70$.
NOTE: Remember to add a quart of Mercon V afterwards.
