Power Shifting - 5speed

Warning: This WILL break something if you do it enough.

Anyway. Its simple in theory, harder in practice. Doubt you'll get .5 with it though. .2-.3 is more reasonable.

    1)   Mat the gas while in 1st.
    2)   At about 100rpm before redline, get ready.
    3)   Keep your right foot PLANTED the whole time.
    4)   At redline, you engage your clutch. This doesn't mean mash it to the floor. You only need to push it down far enough to disengage it, which, if your clutch is shot, might only be 2" or so, depends on the car.
    5)   WHILE CLUTCHING, you slam your gear (2-3 being the toughest)
    6)   As soon as you are in the next gear (your hand should still be on the shifter), sidestep the clutch. That means, slide your foot off it to the left and let the clutch pedal snap up on its own.

    -   This must be done quickly as your motor will obviously rev up while the clutch is in. The trick is shifting fast enough to avoid hitting the rev limiter.
    -   Done properly, your rpms should rise less than 500rpm.
    -   Powershifting 5th is not recommended
