| Removing Shifter Hangle on the automatic |

There's a small slit along the front of the shifter handle, about an inch or so above the bottom of the leather that covers the handle. Inside that slit there is a clip that looks like a large staple. You should be able to reach in with a small screw driver or somethisng to remove it.
