Cam timing is done at .050" tappet lift as is the industry standard and
also quoted in the Motorsport Catalog.
Intake opens 11 degree ATDC, Intake closes 39 degrees ABDC for a
duration at .050 of 208 degrees.
Exhaust opens 46 degrees BBDC and closes 16 degrees BTDC for a duration of 210 degrees at .050.
Intake lobe center is 115 degrees ATDC and Exhaust lobe center is 121 degrees BTDC for a combined lobe center angle of 118 degrees. Maximum lobe lift on both intake and exhaust was .281 inches for a nominal valve lift of .445 inches.
Anyway, for those 5.0 LX guys who have wondered, you know know what the specs are at least for Ken's 93 Bird. Ken.
