5.0L Supercharger Kits

NO, the Mustang kits don't fit the hood, frame rails, A/C lines or shock towers. You have to build your own kit. Or use the modified one from R & E Racing. But that kit is cheap as in fabrication and flexes too much for high rpm and boost. This is from personal experience, the mounting brackets didn't fit properly and are only 5/16" thick so everything moves around. The blower intake is a cheap laundry dryer discharge flex hose that collapses and restricts. I could go on but to each his own. When you spend good money on something that is suppose to work, (just bolt on). And spend 3 more weeks fabricating your own brackets, pulleys, tensioners and blower intake just burns me up. I think after all was said and done it cost about $4,700 in just that so-called kit and parts. John Priff and myself did all the labor; if I didn't have a fabrication shop it would have been worse. Then add the tuning time between us and cost of the dyno shop.
